Forest Bathing near Enschede

Are you in search for some peace and quiet? Would you like to breath deeply, so your toes start to tingle? Or are you in need for the connection with nature, so you can nourish yourself and be more in contact with yourself?

In that case, a forest bathing experience might be just what you need.

This is how a forest bath could also look like. (You can find this place in New-Zealand)

Maybe you’ve already heard about it? In dutch it’s called “Bosbaden” and forest bathing or Shinrin-yoku are also terms which are used to describe the (almost) identical activity: to submerge in the forest. Forest bathing does not literally mean taking a bath in the forest, eventhough it could be a most magical moment! Actually you are already forest bathing when you’re walking through a forest. That is the most simplest form. So basically, you only need to get out and go into nature. However with exercises which enhance the awareness of and connection with nature and yourself, you can experience the real benefit and get the most out of your time spend in nature. A guided forest bathing can be the key for gaining more than just a breath of fresh air. In Japan Shinrin-yoku is practiced next to modern medicin to treat all kinds of ailments, from migrains to cancer. The healing properties of nature is being studied and the scientific evidence is slowly growing. Luckily we don’t have to wait for scientists to discover and proof every detail. We can already enjoy the benefits nature has to offer!

The nature surrounding Enschede is very beautiful. And with just a few minutes from the city you can find peace in the green. As I have been hiking and biking around in the region of Twente, I have found some epic places. I would love to guide you and let you experience the harmony and positive energy.

Therapy in nature with a dog

(Text continues after the foto’s)

As natural health practitioner I apply the healing benefits of nature and its elements as a professional: nutrition, herbalism, breathing exercises… you name it. Being in nature is wat inspired me originally to learn this discipline. And walking through nature is one of the most beautiful forms of natural therapy. Especially when they are accompanied by my animal assistents to truely make a deeper connection. I invite you to join me and my dog(s) for a guided forest bathing experience. Follow me and enjoy the support, inspiration and peace that the connection with nature can give you. In this way, you can also find the connection with yourself for support, motivation and inner balance.
